What is your question?
cruise control not working suddenly. I had the brake light switch replaced a few weeks ago because the gear was stuck in park. Sometime after this the cruise stopped working, but I can't really say it was immediately after because I didn't notice. I had the mechanic who replaced the switch check it again to make sure the wires were hooked up and he said it was. The cruise light does not come on within the pushbutton switch nor does the cruise control engage with the wheel controls. The horn does work and I checked fuse 6.

Mine was the same... I had just replaced the stop light/brake switch. Then cruise on/off light on dash was not coming "on" and it would not engage. But it truely was a improperly adjusted switch. It has to COMPLETELY disengage the switch not just till you hear it click the contact inside the new switch. Almost bottomed out the pedal arm to switch contact point to have cruise work again. Hope this helps someone else. p.s. the light on the dash cruise on/off ... bulb must be burnt out, now to fix that.
Great tip! I checked the fuse and the light on the dash was on but I couldn't figure out why cruise wouldn't engage. When I saw your answer I realized that I too had replaced the brake switch when I couldn't get the car out of park. Without your post I doubt I would have ever figured it out because the brakes lights function properly. Running the switch full into the mount solved the problem!
