My cruise control isn't working, what are the common causes?

It's common for the cruise control system to operate on vacuum, so check the vacuum hoses for the cruise control system. Check that the brake light and clutch pedal position switch (if equipped) are adjusted properly and operating properly. If all this is OK then it will require a more extensive diagnosis that is better suited to a trained technician.
