Recently bought a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. It only came with one key. Does anyone know where I can get a key for this car?

Dealer or lock smith that dose car keys. The key will need to be programed to the car, if you want it to start the car. you can get a un programmed key to open doors only.
2005 Crossfire key......I ordered a 2nd key from my Chrysler dealer, they submitted my VIN etc. The key came in [from Mercedes in TX] $196.00. It started the car and worked in the door locks, but the remote buttons did not work. After 2 days of research , countless calls to Chrys. service folks, the consensus of opinion was I needed to get it programed, another $50-$60. I wondered what I paid $196 for! I even had one dealer tell me that even tho' the new key works now, it is only temporary and in a few days it will no longer work!!! The Crossfire Gods were with me, a service mgr at one of the dealers overheard my issue and solved the problem,,it took one minute! So, if you get a key and it works in the door and starts the car,you only need to program the REMOTE to your car...FOR FREE and ONE HANDED......here goes: Put the key in the ignition, press either one of the 2 buttons twice, turn the key to the RUN position [do not start the car] hold it in the run position for a few seconds....You may or may not hear beep. [I did]. VIOLA!!! you're done. Remember, if your key starts the car, it is already programed don't give anyone any more money!
