What is your question?
I HAVE A 2003 DODE STRATUS. 156000 MILES. COOLING FANS ARE ON ALL THE TIME. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME RIGHT NOW TO REPAIR. I WAS TOLD MOTOR OIR SHOULD BE 5W30 BUT A FRIEND OF MINE SAID I SHOULD USE 25W50 BECAUSE OF THE SUMMERA HEAT. I LIVE WHERE TEMPERATURE CAN RANGE FROM 86 -104F. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, regarding cooling fans - not sure what the question is there -- maybe there is none. As far as engine oil, do NOT use something as heavy as 25W50.. 10W30 is acceptable over 0 degrees Fahrenheit. 5W30 Is good up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. You decide. But anything more WILL cause engine damage.
