Were told by Brakemasters that our car has "a small coolant leak". Upon further questioning re: a/c factor-- were told that it has to do with the engine. They will need to remove parts to see where this leak is coming from.

Depending on where the leak originates from there is the possibility that some component removal is necessary for inspection. Would be even better if they use coolant dye and use a blacklight to help with inspection. By the way, engine coolant will not make a/c work or not work. Is related if engine is overheating and transfers heat from rad to condensor and causes a/c system to run hotter because cannot disipate heat at the condensor.
