What is your question?
I have a Model Year 2000 C230 Kompressor with very low mileage (17000, which had the following symptoms: 1. Upon a cold start during the first two minutes of idling, there is a whirring or whining noise which accompanies the normal engine sound. 2. If I drive the car during this two minute cold start period, the car experiences poor acceleration and straining from low to high gears. After the two minutes have elapsed, the acceleration and noise return to normal and the car drives as if nothing's wrong. 3. If I turn off the ignition at any point during the first two minutes after a cold start, and immediately turn the ignition back on, the noise does not reappear even if the two minutes have not yet fully elapsed. The car also drives normally at this point. Wondering if this could be an Air Pump issue. Anybody? Thanks!

Could this be due to defective thermostat ( coolant) because if it's continously open after starting the engine it will cause that problem. MB needs hot temperature to run normally at 80 C. What did youdo to correct this problem?
