What is your question?
I have just recently had a valve job done on my 2001 Acura MDX after completed my check engine light was still on the codes that come up on diagnostic are knock sensor (do these generally go out and at what interval is this part expected to be changed out) and a rich fuel code (I was just told that this means that the car is burning and putting out too much fuel) what causes this? My concern is that my car does not have nearly as much power as before the valve job and occasionally stalls out? What could be causing this and will any of this be corrected by replacing my knock sensor or could it be o2 sensor related? please advise??

knock sensor rarely fails. it retards timing when it detects engine noise to try and eliminate the noise. it could be a problem but let the tech do the test. as far as the rich code, could be an injector leaking internally or very high fuel pressure. get that checked as well. Roy
