VSC light is 'Vehicle Skid Control' which is probably a failing wheel speed sensor. If you are not losing oil, oil level sensor could need replacing. Take to a shop for diagnosis. Earilier it gets checked out the better.
How expensive will these task be
Having same issue with our 05, have read other posts reguarding same. Dealership wants to replace electrical modules $800-$1600 I am going the wheel speed sensor route first. Oil gauge has always read what I felt was a bit low probably a sensor also if I get out of this one cheap, will let you know what it was
Had my Toyota fixed at local Toyota Dealership, had to replace timing belt and change spark plugs, $900 later it runs like a top. I feel like somethings were done that didn't need it. ezample, I just had spark plugs changed but because, as they said, T he mechanic used autolite sparkplugs which evidentally is a no no. Also timing belt only had 30 thousand miles on it but they said whoever put it on didn't know what they were doing. Anyway, its fixed now
