What is your question?
My check engine light is on. I had it checked and was told the code came up as "misfire". The light came back on the next day. When the engine is cold and I first start the truck, it acts like it wants to cut off, but doesn't, like it's bogging out, and then its like it sucks up a bunch of gas and runs okay, and I can smell the gas. Could it be a clogged fuel filter? Where is the fuel filter on this vehicle?

The fuel filter of your 2008 Hummer H3 is located inside the fuel tank and is part of the fuel pump module. The symptoms you describe sound like you may have a fuel issue but my guess is that it is not the filter. A fuel pressure test would be in order to confirm whether or not the fuel system is at fault.
