What is your question?
I just got a new battery installed last week, ran completely fine for a week and didn't drive it for a few days. Now it will turn over and the engine sounds normal just like how it normally would, but it then just shuts down. Couldn't get it to go into neutral to push it out for a jump, but was finally able to get it jumped and it still is doing the same thing, absolutely no change. There were car thefts in my parking garage the night before I wasn't able to start it, is it possible it could have something to do with the anti-theft being set off?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing

Hello, The anti-theft system in your Mercedes will not allow the starter to attempt cranking the engine at all when the anti-theft immobilizer is active, but the transmission should be able to switch to neutral if it recognizes your key. First thing is to look for the security light on the instrument cluster. There is a representation of the light in the owners manual. If it tells you that the immobilizer is on, the battery for the key may need to be replaced. If so, the red light on the key will not function. This also may not be an immobilizer issue, and may be related to a failure in the vehicle. My advice is to ensure the batteries in the key fob are still good, check for bad fuses, and listen for the fuel pump to run when you open the door and when you turn the ignition to the second click. If nothing seems out of the ordinary, you may need to have it towed to a service center for diagnostics.
