Car wont start, battery light on

Have you tried jump starting it? If the lights,radio,power inside the car comes on doesn't mean the battery is ok (it don't take much from the battery for that,although it takes a lot of Cranking Power from the battery for the starter motor to crank the engine over) to start the engine.
