Car won't restart turns over but not starting

A "stumped" repair facility seems shocking to me; I'm thinking they probably need to obtain a diagnostic authorization to troubleshoot further. There are many things that can cause a vehicle to crank over without starting; a battery failure is not one of them. A battery failure would prevent engine cranking or the engine would crank too slow to start.
