Car won't start.

What is your question?

I only have one key (spouse) and I've lost the little transponder in the middle. Can that be a reason my car won't start? With the key in, it'll turn all the lights on and Windows doors ECT. But won't start car. Please help...

Hello, Yes, that sounds exactly like the problem. If the transponder did actually fall out of the key, then you'll need a locksmith to make you a new key, and then search for a nice video for how to adapt your new key without going to the dealer.
