Car won’t start

I have a 03 Mitsubishi Lancer es that won’t start I change the starter and the ignition switch and it still won’t start what else can it be and when I turn the key all I hear is a ticking sound and I won’t turn over when I changed what I needed to change can someone help that is having this problem I’ve been a week without a car and I can’t figure out what else can it be and my lights on the dash board flickers when I turn the key just need more help with this and it didn’t give me a warnings I drove it and parked the car went to go in my car to start the car and had nothing it was running fine all day and all I did was parked the car and go back in the car it would t start and I changed what makes the car start and I had nothing still doing the same thing Can it be something else and the lights on the car still come on the horn still works so it can’t be a Alternator I just need some more suggestions and is anyone having the same problems that I’m having I need my car pleas help thank
