i was travelling uphilland it was hot outside, would this cause the car to just shut off?

It looks like a bad Crank Position Sensor CPS. I had the same problem for the first time on my 2003 c240 last Sunday, it was hot in San Diego. My car started after 30 minutes with no problems. Found this link on youtube http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2cYAVn639Pg. it describes exactly what happened to me. i just ordered a Bosch Crank sensor from Amazon for $33, everywhere else it runs for $100.
