Car overheats only when running the heat.

What is your question?

I hear it can be the water pump or heating core or clogged radiator. My question is can I drive my Pontiac without using heat as long as it’s not overheating ?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Running heat worsens. Running air engine doesn’t overheat
