What is your question?
My daughters car has had this situation twice. The first time it was after a long trip. She parked the car in the driveway and it would not start. A day later it started. The battery checked out fine. The second time the car was parked and would not start. Once again battery is fine . It feel like there is no compression. Like the engine is not engaging. No check engine light illuminating. The car has 130,000's miles on it and I am not sure of the timing chain or belt has been replaced. I have had other cars were the starter went and it does not "sound" like a bad starter. afraid . Any thoughts on this issue.

When you say the vehicle won't start we need to first clarify is it cranking and not starting or not cracking at all. Reading it sounds like the engine is cranking and not starting. If that's the case then most likely not an issue with the starter or battery. If battery was dead or start failed the engine wouldn't crank. May have an issue with the Ignition, fuel or mechanical issue (timign chain, timing belt). Since the vehicle would not start one day and then started another day, I would tend towards an ignition or fuel issue. If the timing belt was broken the engine would never start till the belt was repaired. Probably no quick fix for this issue that you can perform in your driveway, recommend taking it to a qualified repair facility.
Thank-you I appreciate your advice. The car never engine never turns over at all. Getting it towed later next week.
