Car is sluggish

Has this sentra had a tune up lately, it looks like the 2.0 DOHC engine has a distributor cap and rotor and ignition wires and platinum spark plugs and don't forget the air filter. Looks like the 1.8 has the coil over spark plug setup so you can only change the plugs and filter.

Its best to have the car checked out by a repair shop familiar with Nissans. It is hard to guess at a cause without being able to drive the car first hand and do some basic checks. Oil inside the distributor cap on the 2.0L is common, (the 1.8L uses coil over ignition ,one per cylinder) The distributor should not have oil present in the distributor seal often leaks. Oil on the shutter wheel in the distributor causes rough running/sluggishness. Has the Check Engine Light came on if so using a scan tool will narrow down the diagnostic trouble shooting.
