What is your question?
Car is a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 with 4 liter 6 valve engine which intermittently stalls when slowing down to a stop sign or traffic light. When this stall happens the car will start after about 4 - 5 attempts then the amber transmission warning light and amber check engine light goes on. I’ve bought a scanner and can clear the codes ( codes P0227 & P1775) and go on my way, until next time the car stalls. Sometimes it drives fine for 3, 4 or 5 drives before this happens again. Sometimes the car is hard to start from cold or restarting after driving( 3, 4, 5 attempts to get started and running) this also usually leads to the transmission light and check engine light going on. Car runs fine on a long drive. So far I have replaced the crank position sensor, cleaned the EGR valve, replaced the EGR valve, replaced the TCM and have the same issue.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When engine is warm
