What is your question?
The engine fan runs often and its very loud and the thermostat goes up to 90 degrees fairly quickly. Do I need the fan replaced or is there a problem with the thermostat? And is it causing the car to over heat?
How long has your 2017 Buick Verano had this problem?
A few weeks

If the fan is very loud -- is it too loud? Or is it running too frequently? You mention the thermostat going up to 90 degrees -- what thermostat is this? The normal operating temperature of your engine is right around 200 degrees Fahrenheit -- the thermostat of the engine starts opening at 188 degrees and is completely open by 206 degrees. As a result, I don't know what 90 degrees is pointing out in your query. Overheating will be highly noticeable - you'll have coolant boiling over onto the ground under the engine. The temperature gauge will be on "H". So, it's hard to know what's going on without some hands on evaluation by a professional. I'd recommend seeing a local shop near you for some peace of mind, or perhaps direction. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops That's a link to find shops near you that can help.
