Can I use an older gen ignition coil on my 2006 hybrid civic gen 8

I can't find information on this anywhere and I'm in a desperate position I have 3 coil packs broken clean in 2 in back cylinders and the 4th is leaking oil, I KNOW ITS NOT RECOMMEND but is it a feasible for a "temporary" fix till I can get some OEM coils. car started having multiple misfires and random misfires today and need it operable asap and have gen7 coils on hand
What makes this problem better or worse?
pretty much starting it at this point causes instant misfires on broken cylinders and a random misfire continuously
