Can i still drive my car if the P0245 code came up, without damaging it?

This code relates to the turbocharger waste gate. It will not be clear if you've damaged anything or not until a physical inspection is performed. Naturally if a problem only started after an "event" like this, it's possible this could have been the source of the problem. Anytime you have a check engine light and operational problem it is not advisable to drive until repaired.
