Maintenance. Car is running fine. Has 55,000 miles. Regularly maintained according to Hyundai maintenance schedule. I need to avoid spraying the map sensor, which is located just pass the throttle actuator/body. The breather tube is a rubber hose that goes directly into the intake valve cover. The breather tube connects the air coming through the air filter to the intake valve cover. I do not know its function other than it supplies extra air to the intake valves. Seems like an ideal place to get cleaning spray directly to the intake valves. Unless that would cause a problem.
I found out that the best way to use CRC intake valve cleaner is to spray it directly into the throttle body. Try to avoid getting cleaning spray on the MAP sensor. That means you should aim the spray tube at the opening of the throttle plate that is closest to the firewall. Follow the instructions on the can. These instructions ONLY apply to 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
