Can a standard transmission be converted to automatic?

It is not financially viable to do this. By the time you try to swap and transfer parts you still have different fuel injection computers and wiring harnesses and probably have to go to the Dept. of Motor vehicles to get it certified. It makes more sense to sell you unmodified truck and get an automatic.
