I have 1981 GMC Sierra Grande 1500 4x4 it has currently a inline 6 gas in it but it has the SM465 4 speed with a granny gear and I wanted to know if I can bolt my transmisson up to a 5.7L vortec that came out of a 1994 Surburban 1500

What makes this problem better or worse?
