On September 23, 2016, Cadillac recalled 131 Cadillac CT6. General motors llc (gm) is recalling certain model year 2016 cadillac ct6 vehicles manufactured july 21, 2016, to july 22, 2016. the bolt that connects the front passenger seat belt webbing to the seat's anchor plate may be missing. without the bolt, the seat belt webbing may detach from the seat anchor.

The passenger front seat belt webbing may become detached from the anchor that secures it to the seat's anchor plate. This would make the seat belt ineffective at securing an occupant in an accident, and would increase risk of injury.

Recall repairs on your Cadillac must be performed by a Cadillac dealership. General Motors began notifying known owners of affected vehicles in September, 2016. If you have not received a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Cadillac dealerships. They will also check for any other incomplete recalls on your vehicle.
