Burns alot of oil

(1990 Ford F-350)
in Kelso, WA on July 15, 2009
Is there anyone out there who can help me?? I have a motor home with a ford 460 motor. It has 53K miles and runs like new. The problem I got is it burns a qt. of oil every 75 to 100 miles. It doesn't leak oil, and it doesn't smoke except in the morning but once it warms up there is no smoke at all. I've talk to 3 different shops and I'm told they have no idea cause the oil is supppose to be going somewhere or I'm told the engine is shot and needs rebuilt. I find that hard since it runs so strong other then burning alot of oil. Can anyone help me please>>>
