brakes squeak and grind when stopping

What is your question?

Had them checked and was told break pads are fine, but when I press brake pedal I hear a squeaking and grinding sound, I think from the front. Any suggestion?

It could be the quality of the brake pads used the last time the brake pads were replaces. I have had pretty god luck replacing the brake pads with Wagner Thermo Quite brand brake pads. Are the brake rotors scored in anyway?
