If my car makes a squealing noise when I brake, is it reasonable to say that I may need brake pads. There's no dragging sounds just the squealing.

Dear Blanche, Yes, I would say that you could need some brake work. I would have a brake inspection done, meaning have the front and rear brakes looked at and evaluated to make sure which area of your car needs brake work. Best of Luck!
