The brake lights stay on even after I turn the car off & get out, I have replaced the switch, & it worked for about half a day. I can get them to go out by eather pulling the fuse, or unplugging the switch.

Your switch is still not working correctly Did you check to see that any rubber stops were needed with the switch? Did you use a factory quality switch, anything electrical should be factory quality in my opinion. If disconnecting the switch turns off the lights, then it is clearly a switch issue or switch installation issue. Properly repairing cars is not as easy as one may think. Stay with it, and you will get it. Best of Luck!!
My brake lights stayed on , even with the keys out, drained my battery down too, Took it to Auto zone and the determined that my brake switch was loose. didn't need to replace it yet, but you may try to replace it and hopefully that solves your problem
