1997 Mercury Cougar brake lights
brake lights
What is your question?
my brake lights not working. i replaced the brake light switch and it still not working. i was told it might be the wiring. do anyone no how much it will cost to get it fix?
did you check the fuses?? i would start there.
yes, it could be wiring but without seeing it, we cannot give you an estimate.
take it to a shop for a bid and then shop around.

An added thought....wiring connector is probably damaged from overheating at the switch. Figure less than $100 to replace the pigtail harness.
