Brake Fluid Reservoir

(2004 Jaguar XK8)
in Plainview, NY on November 23, 2010
Where do I check / add brake fluid? I don't see anything under the hood that matches the picture in the owner's manual. Driver's side or passenger's side? Front of the engine compartment or towards the rear?

Should be drivers side towards the rear (firewall). Directly in line from the brake pedal area.

Thank you. There is a protective cover over that section of the engine compartment, although I don't know what it's being protected from. In any case, once I removed the large plastic cover, the brake fluid reservoir was right where it should be .
