What is your question?
Appears after vehicle restarts when coming to complete stop. At times it causes locks in car to unlock and lock again before I can accelerate. Started to occur after a near accident which cause me to hit brakes pretty hard. Since then another warning appears stating that Steering Assist Reduced.
How long has your 2018 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?
Few weeks

Hello, there is something going on that isn't right, for sure. I would have this vehicle checked right away to find out if there are any trouble codes related to chassis modules such as anti-lock brake or related that are occurring. Also, you could have something to do with body control modules. There are so many possibilities these days with the addition of cameras and radar to vehicles for the purpose of safety assist. Something as simple as the wrong windshield being replaced in the vehicle could cause problems. There's no way anyone here could know if you've ever had a windshield replaced, for example. Tire condition and size and wear can contribute, even different tire models if matched on the same vehicle. Hands on inspection for sure is needed. I'm curious to know if the original person who posted found out how to fix the issue? I am having the same issue now with my 2018 Equinox.
Same problem on my 2019 Equinox...has anyone found out what the issue is? My car will also have trouble unlocking and retaining dash settings overnight so makes me think it's an electrical issue
