Q: BMW 760LI loses power and exhaust manifest glowing? on 2007 BMW 760Li

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
mostly runs fine... Occasionally runs poorly... once engine is at 1500rpm it takes off appearing to run fine.

When really rough... turns out the exhaust manifold on the right side is glowing hot!

Glowing hot manifold may be a sign of a restricted exhaust (most likely a bad cat converter), it could be slipped/retarded timing on one side of the engine. Perhaps an ignition or fuel problem on one side of the engine, a vacuum leak or engine mechanical problem, has contributed to the cat failure.
