Blown Spark plug

Ouch, ugly deal. Did you already have a Helicoil installed? OK, the correct way per Ford to do the repair is to remove the cylinder head and have the "thread-stitch" method done with the spark plug hole. This would be many hours of labor. However, most technicians experienced with the thread stitch process (the only process approved by Ford, by the way...) can do it within a few hours - with the engine still in chassis.. They usually charge you more, though, in my experience.
