What is your question?
i was told a connection was loose, a few weeks later it stopped again but started when i took it to the shop, it stopped a few wks later & this time i was told it was the control unit, when they replaced it, it still didn't work & they found a burnt wire, my question is did i waste $400 on a new blower & then $275 for labor to fix the wire? is the mechanic just not very good?

It's hard to say one way or the other, because I wasn't there. However the fact that you had a blower that would work and then fail, points to a intermittent power problem and the wires and connections should have been checked first before any other parts were replaced. Sounds like this was your problem the whole time.
