My 97 s420 gas level light blinks after driving for about 10 miles. when I turn car off it stops. I replaced gas cap and 1 O2 sensor

This is most likely an issue with your fuel tank sending unit. I would have a good technician scan your fuel level data. Fill the tank and then use have the scan performed. I would bet that the level will be off and/or the low fuel warning system will be triggered way too early.
Not sure why this is blinking, but I think it's trying to notify you that there is a fault in the fuel level sensor system or the fuel level is low. I would also look at the owners manual to see if it mentions the blinking light, find yours here: http://repairpal.com/automobile_owners_manuals_online The best way to address this is to get the diagnostic codes read out from the vehicle to see if any have been stored. You'll need a good scan tool that can read the codes, I suggest you take this to a good Mercedes shop and have them check it out.
