Hah, don't get me started with my 2004 Durango. I've owned vehicle since 2006, never had any issue at all with truck until about 2012. Only thing I did notice was strange electrical issues. Very mild though, my volume knob on stereo would turn,but wouldn't go up or down. But it was never for very long maybe 20 min. Then lights would act funny,, or turn on, seemed like a short. Then the fun began, I would go to drive and battery would be dead. At first figured I left something on, so no biggie . It's funny because my first battery lasted 8 years. Kinda funny after I replaced first battery in car it's never been the same. This happened every once in awhile, but seemed to be happening more frequently. Alternator was ok ,something was draining battery. Took it to a few places including dodge nothing, usually worked fine when being serviced of course right. I became a pro, jump start box,cables, . Seems like as time went on it got worse. See Answer Section, NEEDED MORE SPACE FOR QUE

Seems like as time went on it was almost every other start. When it was raining it was horrible, I would literally leave my car running for hours, or if I was working would actually put a tarp on it. How embarrassing huh, but no one could figure it out. So I ended up getting a new battery and to my surprise I didn't have a problem for a year and a half! If that was all I had to do, I have no problem replacing battery even once a year. Unfortunately that bring s us to present time. Dec. 2018. About a month ago funny thing my radio volume started same thing as years ago, then battery died like before, but its different now. I bought a new battery thinking for sure that would solve issue. But it didnt, no it worked on for couple hours, then battery light came on and car would just shut down. (Shouldn't be alternator replaced 2 1/2 years ago) Replaced terminals also. Could it be cables or ground? I'm so frustrated. Please Help Me!
