turn the key off all lights etc always shut off. I went into grocery store for about 20 minutes came out and my headlights were still on.. How to correct?

Make sure the head lights are in the correct position. Turn the switch to off and see if the lights now turn off. People knock the switch when cleaning the car or working on the car.
