I just bought a used 05 Chevy Aveo, and noticed at night the shifter lights turn off soon after I start driving, and will come on again when I wiggle the knob or shift out of drive. I downloaded the owner's manual and didn't see anything about that and wondered if it was normal or a loose wire. thanks :)

As bulbs start to go out, they will often have this behavior. If you look at a bulb, there is a fine piece of wire (filament) that breaks, and the filament will reconnect as you move it around, causing the light to come back on (same as a loose wire, it's just inside the bulb). You may also be correct about the loose wiring to the bulb. It will need to be inspected for both problems.
