i left my audi q7 with dealership in birmingham al . they said catalytic convertors have melted and in order to fix the problem it will cost 5000 dollars . i was also told by the dealership i bought the car from that audi has 8 years or 80000 miles warranty on emmission control devises . do you know anything about the warranty and why the repair is so costly .

Call Audi and try to get them to Goodwill the repair, something else is prob. the reason for the failure. Check for TSB's.
