At 2am, my volt had low or even no oil in the engine after a bad oil change.

At 2am, my volt dash showed a light that I had low/no oil and was overheating. Being stranded by onstar with no tow truck I drove it home 6 miles. What’s can I expect in the future problems, do I need the dealership to replace the engine? I just bought it CPO and it’s under extended warranty but only 3yrs.
