I have a 2000 Chrysler LHS. I have had nothing but problems after problem since I bought it. The problem I'm having now is the shifter is stuck in the "L" position. I was simply trying to back out of a parking spot and the shifter seemed to be stuck . I wiggled it and it went all the way to "L" and now I can't get it back up to "N" or "P" to start it. I've taken everything off from around the shifter and it appears that the cable was detached from the shifter. When I attempted to put the shifter back on I noticed that the cable will not budge. It is stuck. How much will this cost to fix? And what needs to be done to fix it?
