Q: Any ideas on why my truck misses consistantly when humid? on 1990 Toyota Pickup

It runs well when dry. I have replaced: plugs, wires, distributor cap, air filter, fuel filter, etc. The truck misses/cuts in and out when driving when humid. During rapid acceleration it tends to do ok. Cruising a constant RPM-bad.

Did you also replace the distributor rotor as well? This is important. If you did, then I would check your Ignition Coil. it may be arcing to ground when it is wet. Does your truck have a carb or is it Fuel Injected? ( 1990 was the last year )

let me know and Good Luck!
I was having the same problem with my 89 pickup with 3vze and the probleme was a hole in the floor of the passenger side and wen it was raining all the water from the tire was going the main computer situate at the right foot of the passenger side
