Aniti theft malfunction

Try cleaning the key. I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes when there is dirt from your pocket on the key, the car won't start. Usually I put the key through a wire brush and that helps. It's happened to me many times. If you have another key for the vehicle, try that one. Or you will need to make another key and get it reprogrammed, which will run around $100-150. I forgot to add that there is a transceiver that goes bad on the steering column, that needs to be replaced when replacing and programming the new key. You can only get that from Ford.

Anti-theft issues will not cause a stall. You will need to have a diagnosis done to determine why the stall occured. When you try to crank the car, what does your "THEFT" light do?
