Replaced driver's side blend door actuator with an AcDelco from Chevrolet dealer no change . We can turn the temperature control up for heat a/c compressor still runs and warmer to hot air comes out of vents

Not just cool > *COLD* .. It must be *COLD* there before it will be be COLD air inside the cabin!
No it is not cold pushrod
Add refrigerant (freon) in increments ! Keep checking LOW side pressure - plus feeling that line - stop charging when COLD and cabin air is approximately 20° lower than ambient temperature - DO NOT OVERCHARGE ! It shouldn’t take much Freon since the compressor clutch is actually engaging. IF unfamiliar with procedures - seek *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel. Good luck!
Additionally - IF the system components ‘under hood’ were indeed performing as required - you would see water droplets coming from the evaporator drain and the filter dryer would be sweating as well .... IF that isn’t the case - it is safe to assume the system is a bit low of refrigerant.. I think your problem is indeed under the hood as opposed to inside the cabin.
Pushrod, thanks for the help. It is my sister's car & she asked me last week when this started "How come it is not dripping?? Should have figured it out then.
Obviously there is a small leak within the system - however if all it needs is a few ounces of refrigerant to bring cooling back to normal - I’m not sure I’d be too concerned about that at this particular time.. Might consider adding some ultra violet sensitive dye when charging the system this time for future leak detection with uv light - IF desired.
