Usually I can tell that the air conditioner start working when it switches on from the engine but now it doesn't do it. Checked the coolant and its not leaking out. Don't know what's going on. Hello, The only option is to have it connected to a set of gauges to diagnose it. You could just have a clog or a bad sensor, but you'll never know without diagnosing the system. The worst of it is that you can't service it without recovery and evacuation equipment because you have to capture the refrigerant before it is opened for repair and pull a vacuum on the system after it is closed and before it is refilled. You can scan it first with a professional grade scan tool to compare high and low side pressure to what the sensors are reporting, as that would tell you if the pressure sensors are the cause. Either way, after 10 years of service, you will likely need to replace the descicant bag that collects moisture in the system and the orifice tube (if equipped). Whatever you do, make sure you use a trusted and certified repair facility. Nothing worse than spending money on a bad diagnosis.
