What is your question?
I would like a seond opinion. I have a 2007 Acura Tsx. It has two electic fans. The AC was only blowing hot air so i thought it just needed freon. Unfortunitly it would not take it so i took it to a mechanic. He said one of the fans was not working properly and that it was low on freon. I authorized them to replace the fan and add freon. But when i went to pick up my car i was informed that during the test run they noticed the ac stops blowing cold air when on idle but it would pick right up when i started moving again. He blamed it on a worn out pump and said that repair was much more expensive and since i only drive local he wanted me to test out this more economical fix before deciding if i wanted to do more. But he thinks i will be okay with this small fix. If the ac is on high like 60 then on a red light it will start blowing hot air but if i keep it at about 74 then i noticed i can get a red light and the ac will not blow cold air but the air will also not be hot.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Pressing on gas makes it better.

low freon, fan not working at idle, or a bad compressor could all cause your problem. to determine what exactly is the problem I would need to see the car. If you do have doubts on your first diag. I would recommend going to a approved repair pal shop in your area for a second opinion.
