my a/c stopped blowing cold air. i had freon level checked and it as plenty of freon.i was told possible clogged up system. what is the cause of problem and what would be the estimated cost for repair?

I suggest you take it another shop. Plenty of refrigerant doesn't tell me anything. Low side & High side pressure readings would be much more helpful, like 250psi over 40psi. Clogged up does help either. Until you have the pressure readings it is a little hard to diagnose.
