AC has gradually become less cold over months or more. What does this suggest?

What is your question?

AC gradually less cold requiring me to crank it up more and more, then it just stopped blowing cold altogether. It now blows ambient temperature air, the same as if I just use the vent without the AC engaged. Vehicle has 180,000 miles.
